Pitzer students have a number of resources to help them secure and participate in research opportunities both on- and off-campus. In addition to the resources listed below, students strongly are encouraged to discuss their research interests with faculty members and advisers who can direct them to field-specific opportunities.
I. Student Research Opportunities
Student Research Opportunities and Funding is available through the Pitzer College Dean of 教师 Office (请联系: (电子邮件保护), Office of the Dean of 教师)
- 教师-Student Summer Research: Pitzer students receive a stipend to undertake a research assistantship with a Pitzer 教师 member during the summer
- Katie Lawson Endowed Memorial Award: Helps Pitzer 学生, particularly psychology majors, to pursue their social work or community service objectives
- 研究及获奖情况: provides support to student research projects that are undertaken in connection with an Independent Study or Senior Thesis
- 会议旅游: Pitzer students who are presenting at an academic conference in collaboration with Pitzer faculty can receive funding to help cover costs.
II. 凯克科学 Department Summer Research Program

According to their website, “NSF funds a large number of research opportunities for undergraduate students through its REU Sites program.
